My friend sent this to me the other day, and it cracked my shit up. Apparently floppy buns being super cat-humping machines is a universal thing. Do not mess with a bun, or he will stick it in your butt.

Another friend recently gave me a copy of Wild Ducks Flying Backward, which is a collection of Tom Robbins' short works, which is a thing of which's existence I was unaware. I am love love loving it. It's been ages since I had some new Robbins to read, and just slightly less ages since I had a reread of an old favorite, so I've been jumping into his prose like a delicious pool of pudding that I get to eat my way out of. ♥ In this book, there is everything from a three page ode to a pink Florida hotel to a story about a fart to a treatise on how kissing is awesome. Classic.

(I have like $75 in book gift cards to spend and I am hell of excited. I know a few things I am definitely getting, any other suggestions?)

Have a brief linkspam:
Jumping manta-rays :: There is something so absurdly delightful about how they flop back into the water.
like a shark or something :: HOW IS THIS NOT ALREADY A T-SHIRT ON MY BODY
Charley the cat :: Whenever I make reference to the 'brain thing' that my mom's cat Grania has, this is what I'm talking about. (Super adorable and not sad at all.)
Video game maxims :: He starves to death, because YOU FORGOT TO GIVE HIM THE SINKING LURE
Shaun and Ash :: Some zombies are going to get themselves heck of killed

Ah, such wonderful end-of-the-year (cough beginning of the year, but whatever whatever) indulgence. It does not hold up well against the previous year, which is somewhat depressing, but it was fun to do regardless. I shall just have to be sure this year is better than both, yeah?
